4.12.2 CH DIR (Changing a Directory)
Press the FILE key to call up the FILE
screen.
Select the media.
Move a directory.
□ To move to the lower directory:
Using the JOG/SHUTTLE control, or the
CURSOR key, select the target directory
on the bar cursor from the file list.
□ To move to the upper directory:
Using the JOG/SHUTTLE control, or the
CURSOR key, select the target file name
with ". ." on the bar cursor from the file
list.
Move the flashing cursor to the (command
)
item, shown in the figure on the left.
Use the function keys to select the CH DIR.
Selected directory now.

A directory is changed.
The 8826 provides direct movement only one layer up or down in the directory
hierarchy.
■ Directory organization
・The directory and the number of files that can be stored in the directory are
limited. For details, see Section 14.7.
・Stores a file in the directory currently selected on the file screen.
