Chapter 3 Installaon

3.1 Installaon Environment

• Avoid backlight, direct sunlight, and indirect sunlight.

• For

beer recognion, there should be light source in or near the installaon environment.

• If you have to install the device outdoors, you should install a protecve shield (oponal) for the

device.

3.2 Flush Mounng with Gang Box

Steps

Note

The gang box is oponal. You should purchase it separately.

1. R

emove the back sheet under the TAMPER buon by removing the 2 screws. Secure the

mounng plate on the base plate with 4 screws. Remove the sponge tage on the base plate and

secur

e the device on the mounng plate with 2 screws.

2. Secur

e the decoraon plate on the base plate with 4 screws. Sck 3 waterproof membranes on

the decoraon plate as shown below. Route the cable through the cable hole of the plates, and

connect to external device's cables.

Note

The waterproof membranes is used only in the ush mounng.
