Reason
The video recorder uses the same IP address as other devices.

Change the IP address of video recorder. Ensure it is not the same as other devices.

single or mul-channel cameras?
Reason
HDD read/write excepon.
Soluon
Export the video, and play it with other devices. If it plays normally on other device, change your
HDD, and try again.
14.2.11 Why does my video recorder make a beeping sound

Reason
1. The front panel is not fastened (for the device which its front panel is removable).
2. HDD error, or do not have HDD.
Soluon
1. If it makes connuous beeps, and your device's front panel is removable, ensure the front panel
is fastened.
2. If it makes non-connuous beeps (3 long, 2 short), take HDD error as an example, check if the
device has installed HDD. If not, you can go to System → Event → Normal Event →
Excepon ,
and uncheck Event Hint Conguraon to disable HDD error event hint.
Check if the HDD is
inialized. If not, go to Storage > Storage Device to inialize the HDD.
Check if the HDD is broken. You can change it, and try again.
