6.4 Not Wearing Hard Hat Detecon
Not wearing hard hat detecon detects people who are not wearing hard hats. For the people who
are not wearing hard hat, you can link face picture library to the detecon to recognize these
people and know there name.
Before You Start
Ensure the engine mode is set as Not Wearing Hard Hat
Detecon. You can go to Conguraon →
System → VCA Conguraon to congure the engine mode.
Steps
Note
• The camera
lt angle is recommended to be installed between 20° to 60°.
• When people are standing straightly in the image, the length of people should be larger than
25% of the total image length.
• There should not be too many people in the detecon area.
1.
Go to Conguraon → VCA → Not Wearing Hard Hat Detecon .
2. Select a camera.
3. Check Enable Not Wearing Hard Hat
Detecon, and the device will analyze the video, cameras
only transmit video stream.

Oponal: Check Overlay Rule Frame or Overlay Target Frame, the rule frame or target frame
will be displayed on the captured picture.
5. Set the
detecon area.
1) Set Region. You can select a region number for the detecon area.
2) Click Draw Area to draw the
detecon area in the preview window.
3) Click Stop Drawing.
4) Click Save.
