General
Connectable to HDTVI, IP and analog cameras.
Up to 8 IP cameras can be added.
Connectable to third-party IP cameras that adopt ONVIF or custom protocol.
PAL/NTSC adaptive video inputs.
H.264 video compression with high reliability and superior definition.
H.264+ compression improves encoding efficiency by up to 50% and reduces data storage
costs.
Supports dual-stream compression.
The main stream supports up to 3 MP resolution.
Independent configuration for each channel, including resolution, frame rate, bitrate, image
quality, etc.
The quality of the input and output video is configurable.
Each channel supports two kinds of compression parameters, the normal continuous and
event. Sub-stream can be configured locally.
Encoding for both audio/video composite stream and video stream; audio and video
synchronization during composite stream encoding.
Supports channel-zero encoding to decrease the bandwidth requirement when viewing
multiple cameras.
Supports enabling H.264+ to ensure high video quality with lowered bit rate.

For iDS-8104AHQXLI-E4, four smart ATM modes are supported: panel mode, environment
mode, human face mode, and safety cabin mode. You can set rules and alarm response actions
once the configured rule is triggered.
Night to day sensitivity, day to night sensitivity, and IR light brightness configurable for the
connected analog cameras supporting these parameters.
