Step 4 Select Serial Port Interception from the drop-down list as the input mode.
Step 5 Configure the serial port interception settings.
1) Click Setting to enter the Serial Port Interception Settings interface.
2) Set the baud rate, data bit, stop bit, parity, flow ctrl and usage for the serial port
communication.
3) Click OK to save the settings and exit.
The serial port parameters you set on the device should be corresponding with that of the
connected ATM, and the serial port usage should be set as Transparent Channel.

Step 6 Select the protocol for the serial port communication.
5 types of protocols are selectable: DIEBOLD, DRS918, NCR_2, PSBC, and Custom. If you
select Custom as the protocol, click Setting to customize the protocol. For details, see
Chapter 10.5 Custom Protocol Settings.
Step 7 Click Apply and reboot the device to activate the new settings.
11.3 Network Protocol
Before you start
Connect the device and the ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) to the network properly.
Purpose
A TCP connection is established between the device and ATM in server/client mode. The
transaction information, including transaction card No, transaction amount, transaction behaviour,
etc., will be sent from the ATM to the device.
