Step 2 Select the detected IP camera and click the Add button to add it directly, and you can click
Search to refresh the online IP camera manually.
OPTION 3:
You can custom add the IP camera by editing the parameters in the corresponding text field and
then click Add to add it.
3.11 Configuring Custom Protocols
Purpose
Custom protocols can be set for the network cameras which are not configured with the standard
protocols.
Step 1 Click Protocol on the Custom Adding interface to enter the Protocol Management interface.

Step 2 Select a custom protocol from the drop-down list, and configure its corresponding
parameters.
Protocol Name: Edit the name for the custom protocol.
Enable Sub-stream: If the network camera does not support sub-stream or the
sub-stream is not needed, leave the checkbox empty.
Type: The network camera adopting custom protocol must support getting stream
through standard RTSP.
Transfer Protocol: Select the transfer protocol for the custom protocol.
Port: Set the port No. for the custom protocol.
Path: Set the resource path for the custom protocol. E.g., ch1/main/av_stream.
