Backing up video files using a USB writer or SATA writer are identical. Refer to steps described

Backing Up by Event Search 7.1.2
Purpose:
Back up event-related record files using USB devices (USB flash drives, USB HDDs, USB writer), SATA writer, or
eSATA HDD. Quick Backup and Normal Backup are supported.
Go to Menu > Export > Event. 1.
Select the cameras to search. 2.
