Chapter 13 Local Menu Operaon
Connect a display and a mouse to the recorder, and you can operate the recorder locally.
13.1 Manage IP Camera
Aer connecng IP camera(s) or mobile posioning system(s) to the device, if no image is
displayed on the live view interface, follow the
instrucons below to manage IP camera(s) or
mobile
posioning system(s). If image can be displayed normally on the live view interface, ignore
this secon.
Note
The secon is only available for the device supporng IP cameras or mobile posioning systems.
13.1.1 Add IP Camera Automacally
Aer the IP camera is connected, the recorder can add it automacally.
Before You Start
• The recorder supports adding IP camera automacally.
• Connect the IP camera to the corresponding interface of the recorder.
• Make sure the IP camera is inacve or its password is the same as that of the recorder.
Steps
1. Go to Menu → Other Sengs → Camera Management .
2. Check IP PNP PORT.
3. Click OK.
13.1.2 Manage IP Camera Manually
If the connected IP camera has been acvated, but the password is dierent from that of the
recorder, you can manage the IP camera manually.

Before adding an IP camera, acvate it by seng a password for it.
Before You Start
Connect the IP camera to IP camera interface on the recorder rear panel.
Steps
1. Go to Menu → Other Sengs → IPC Sengs .
