Chapter 2 Start up Device
2.1 Acvaon
For the rst-me access, you need to acvate the device by seng an admin password. No
operaon is allowed before acvaon. The device supports mulple acvaon methods.
Note
Refer to the user manual of client soware for the acvaon via client soware.
2.1.1 Default Informaon
Device default IP address and user name are as follows.
• Default IP address: 192.168.1.64
• Default user name: admin.

Acvate via Local Menu
You can acvate the recorder via the local menu when it's connected to an external monitor.
Steps
1. Enter Password.
2. Conrm the password.
Note
We highly recommend you to create a strong password of your own choosing (using a minimum
of 8 characters, including at least three kinds of following categories: upper case leers, lower
case leers, numbers, and special characters) in order to increase the security of your product.
And we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system,
reseng the password monthly or weekly can beer protect your product.
3. Select OK.

Acvate via SADP
SADP soware is used for detecng the online devices, acvang the devices, and reseng the
password.
Before You Start
• Get the SADP
soware from the ocial website, and install it according to the prompts.
• Ensure your computer and the device are in the same network segment.
