Note
Input the person's basic informaon rst. For details about conguring person's basic
informaon, refer to Congure Person's Basic Informaon.
3. Click Credenal → Fingerprint tab to enter the card credenal sengs page.
4. Select the
collecon mode as Local Collecon.
5. Connect the
ngerprint recorder to the PC and set its parameters.
1) Click Set Fingerprint Machine to open the
seng ngerprint machine window.
2) Select the device type.
Note
Currently, the supported ngerprint recorder types include DS-K1F800-F, DS-K1F300-F, DS-
K1F810-F, and DS-K1F820-F.
3) Oponal: For ngerprint recorder type DS-K1F800-F, you can set the serial port number,
baud rate, and overme parameters of the ngerprint recorder.
Note
• The serial port number should correspond to the serial port number of PC.
• The baud rate should be set according to the external
ngerprint card reader. The default
value is 19200.
• Timeout
aer eld refers to the valid ngerprint collecng me. If the user does not input
a ngerprint or inputs a ngerprint unsuccessfully, the device will indicate that the
ngerprint collecon is over.
4) Click Save.
6. Collect the ngerprint.
1) Click Start.
2) Select a
ngerprint on the hand picture to start collecng.
3) Li and rest the corresponding ngerprint on the ngerprint scanner twice to collect the
ngerprint.
1) Select a ngerprint type.
Note
When the same ngerprints of one person are collected, the prompt with repeat ID appears.
When the similar ngerprints are collected for dierent person, the prompt with repeat ID and
person name appears.
7. Conrm adding the person.

Click OK to add the person and close the Add Person window.

Click Save and
Connue to add the person and connue to add other persons.
