Step 3 Export or import the IP camera configuration files.
• Click Export to export the configuration files to the selected local backup device.
• To import a configuration file, select the file from the selected backup device and
click Import.
After the importing process is completed, you must reboot the device to activate the
settings.
18.4 Importing/Exporting Device Configuration Files
Purpose
The device configuration files can be exported to a local device for backup; and the
configuration files of one device can be imported to multiple devices if they are to be
configured with the same parameters.
Before You Start
Connect a storage device to your device. To import the configuration file, the storage device
must contain the file.
Step 1 Go to Maintenance > Import/Export.

Step 2 Export or import the device configuration files.
• Click Export to export configuration files to the selected local backup device.
• To import a configuration file, select the file from the selected backup device and
click Import.
