c. For the TCP Receive mode, Click Set to Network Receive Settings as follows.
Note: The port should be exactly the same as the port of POS terminal; you can click and
edit it via virtual keyboard (The default port number is 10000).

5. Click POS Protocol to select one communication protocol between the POS terminal and DVR.
Note: For the communication protocol AVE, it only supports RS-232 connection mode.
Note: For the communication protocol Generic, it supports RS-232, TCP Listen and TCP Receive
connection modes.
e. For the Generic protocol, click Set to configure Generic Settings as follows.
1) Start Line Identifier: You can define the transaction start string. The transaction data will
starts to display on the video and be recognized as the start of a new transaction every time
when the DVR detects this Start Line Identifier string.
Note: Hex stands for Hexadecimal, which is a numeral system based on 16 common symbols 09
and AF (or af). Click Hex check box to enable Hexadecimal mode.
