Stay in the Exporting interface until all record files are exported with pop-up message box “Export
finished”.
5. Check backup result.
Choose the record file in Export interface and click button to check it.
The Player player.exe will be exported automatically during record file export.

7.1.3 Backing up by Event Search
Purpose:
Back up event-related record files using USB devices (USB flash drives, USB HDDs, USB writer), SATA
writer or eSATA HDD. Quick Backup and Normal Backup are supported.
Backup by alarm input search is supported by DS-7224/7232-SH, DS-7300-SH, DS-8100-SH and
HDVR models only.
Backup by VCA (Line Crossing Detection or Intrusion Detection) search is supported by the Smart
DVR/HDVR only.
The eSATA writer is supported by DS-7300-SH and DS-8100-SH models only.
Steps:
1. Enter Export interface.
Menu>Export>Event
2. Select Motion, Alarm Input, Line Crossing Detection or Intrusion Detection as the event type.
The following steps have introduced the backup by motion detection triggered record files. Perform the same
operation for the backup by alarm triggered record files.
