Chapter 11 Network Settings
11.1 Configuring General Settings
Network settings must be properly configured before you operate the DVR over a network.
1. Enter the Network Settings interface, Menu > Configuration > Network.

2. Select the General tab.
3. On the General Settings interface, configure the following parameters: NIC Type, IPv4 Address, IPv4
Gateway, MTU, DNS Server, and Main NIC.
The valid value of MTU is from 500 to 1500.
If a DHCP server is available, check the Enable DHCP checkbox to
obtain an IP address and other network settings from that server
automatically.
If DHCP is enabled, you can check the Enable DNS DHCP
checkbox or uncheck it and edit the Preferred DNS Server and
Alternate DNS Server.
4. Click the A
pply button to save the settings.
