1) Select the camera you want to configure.
2) Click More Settings.

3) Set the following parameters:
a) Pre-Record – Enter the number of seconds to record before the triggered event.
b) Post-Record – Enter the number of seconds to record after the triggered event.
c) Expired Time (day) – Enter the number days to keep the recording.
d) Record Audio (checkbox) – Check to enable audio recording.
e) Video Stream – Use the pull-down menu to select the video stream to record.
4) Click OK to save the settings.
5) If the encoding parameters can also be used for other channels, click Copy and choose the
channel for which you want to apply the settings.
5.9 Configuring HDD Group
Purpose
You can group the HDDs and save the record files by HDD group.
1. Go to Menu > System Configuration > HDD > Storage Mode, and check whether the storage mode of the
HDD is Group. If not, use the pull-down menu to set the storage mode to Group. See 12.3 Managing HDD

2. Select the HDD Information tab.
