10.2.4 Exposure Settings
Exposure is controlled by the combination of iris, shutter, and photo sensitivity. You can adjust the image
effect by setting exposure parameters.
In manual mode, you need to set Exposure Time, Gain, and Slow Shutter.
10.2.5 Focus
This feature offers options to adjust the focus mode and the minimum focus distance.
Focus Mode Auto: The device focuses automatically as the scene changes. If you cannot get a well-
focused image under auto mode, reduce light sources in the image and avoid flashing lights.
Semi-Auto: The device focuses once after the PTZ and lens zooming. If the image is clear, the focus
does not change when the scene changes.
Manual: You adjust the focus manually on the live view page.
Min. Focus Distance: When the distance between the scene and lens is shorter than the Min. Focus
Distance, the lens does not focus.
Focus Speed: This function adjusts the focus speed and is supported only in thermal channel.
The higher the value, the faster the image focuses. It is suitable for image focus from fuzzy to clear.
The lower the value, the slower the image focus. It is suitable for slight focus adjustments.
Temperature Change Adaption: Enable this function when temperature change affect the image focus.
10.2.6 ABF
Enable this function when the device cannot focus rear scene clearly.
Go to Configuration System Maintenance System Service, and enable ABF, then you can focus
manually.
Disable ABF function when the image is clear.
10.2.7 Day/Night Switch
The Day/Night Switch function can provide color images in day mode and black and white images in night
mode. Switch mode is configurable.
Day: The image is always in color
Night: The image is always black and white
Auto: The camera switches between day mode and night mode according to the illumination
automatically.
Scheduled-Switch: Set the Start Time and the End Time to define the duration for day mode.
Triggered by alarm input: Two trigger modes are available: Day and Night. For example, if the trigger
