2. Check the Enable Tracking checkbox to enable panorama tracking function.
3. Select the calibration mode and perform the calibration.
Auto Calibration:
(1) Select the calibration mode as Auto.
(2) Select mode for auto calibration: One-Touch Calibration and Single Scene Calibration.
For one-touch calibration, camera performs automatically after clicking the button.
For single-scene calibration, camera performs calibration scene by scene with a bit human
help.
i. Move and zoom in/out the PTZ camera channel to make sure the PTZ view and panoramic
view is mostly the same.
ii. Click Start Calibration to start the calibration. After calibration for one scene is done,
manually change to another scene to perform further calibration.
(3) Set the tracking duration: the PTZ camera channel stops tracking after the set duration.
(4) Set the zoom ratio: Set the zoom ratio of PTZ camera channel manually to ensure the certain
scale of target in the PTZ view. The PTZ camera channel tracks the target by the scale once the
tracking is triggered.
(5) Click Set Zoom Ration to set the current zoom ratio as the tracking zoom ratio.
(6) After calibration for all scenes are done, click Auto Calibration Succeeded. The device reboots
automatically to take effect.
Manual Calibration:
(1) Select the calibration mode as Manual.
(2) Move the No.1 site of panoramic view to certain site “ ” and set the calibration site.
(3) Move and zoom in/out the Camera 02 to make sure the of PTZ view and the of
panoramic view are at the same position. You can use to quickly locate the desired point.
i. Click to enable the function.
ii. Click the same point as the numbered cross marked on panoramic camera channel.
The PTZ camera place the clicked point in the middle of the image automatically.
iii. Click the button again to turn it off.
(4) Click to save current ptz position and show in the calibration parameter list.
(5) Repeat the steps above to add more calibration points for the Panorama View (Scene#).
(6) Set Tracking Initial: When the camera finish calibrating or has a calibration timeout, close-up
view shall turn to a fixed position. Click the PTZ button to set a certain position, then click Set
Tracking Initial to finish setting.
(7) Set the tracking duration: the PTZ camera channel stops tracking after the set duration.
(8) Set the zoom ratio: Set the zoom ratio of PTZ camera channel manually to ensure the certain
scale of target in the PTZ view. The PTZ camera channel tracks the target by the scale once the
tracking is triggered.
(9) Click Set Zoom Ratio to set the current zoom ratio as the tracking zoom ratio.
(10) Click and repeat above steps to move on to set calibration points for the next scene.
(11) Click Start Calibration.
