4. Click , and then drag the mouse to draw the region of interest on the live video.
5. Adjust the ROI level from 1 to 6. The higher the value, the better image quality in the red frame.
6. Enter a Region Name and click Save to save the settings.
Dynamic Region: The device can automatically calculate the region with motion. Set the Image
Quality Enhancing level for ROI encoding.
Steps:
1. Check Enable Face Tracking and set ROI Level. Higher level means more resource is assigned to the
face.
2. Check Enable Target Tracking and set ROI Level. Higher level means more resource is assigned to
the target.
3. Click Save to save the settings.
3.4.4 Target Cropping
Purpose:
You can specify a target area on the live video, and then the specified video area can be displayed via
the third stream in some certain resolution, thus to provide more details of the target area if needed.
Note:
This function varies according to different camera models.
Figure 3-21 Target Cropping Configuration
Steps:
1. Enter the Target Cropping setting interface: Configuration >Video/Audio >Target Cropping.
2. Check Enable Target Cropping checkbox to enable the function.
3. Select the cropping resolution for the video display of target area. A red rectangle is displayed on
the live video to mark the target area, and you can click-and-drag the rectangle to locate the target
area as desired.
4. Click Save to save the settings.
