2. Adjust Parameters.
Scene Mode: Select a scene mode to activate certain scene-specific settings.
Detection Sensitivity: Range [0-4], the higher the sensitivity is, the easier the target will be
detected.
Background Update Rate: Range [0-4], if a detected target remains in the monitoring scene for a
certain time, the system will count the target as the background automatically. The greater the
value is, the faster the target will be counted as the background.
Restore Default: Click Restore to restore the parameters to the default.
Restart VCA: Click Restart to restart the VCA function.
3. Global Size Filter
Global Size filter is valid for all panoramic channels. Targets larger or smaller than the set size range
are filtered out.
Steps:
1) Enable Global Size Filter.
2) Click and draw a max size frame on live image.
3) Click and draw a min size frame on live image.
4) Click Save to save the settings.

6.4 Face Capture
Face capture function detects and captures faces in surveillance scenes. When the grading of the
detected face exceeds an algorithm-defined value, the PTZ camera channel captures the face and
triggers linkage actions. Set up Capture Parameters and advanced parameters before using the
function.
Note:
For certain camera models, you need to select Face Capture on VCA Resource (Configuration >
System > System Settings) page first.
