COUNTERFEIT DETECTION
BILL COUNTER
UV (Ultraviolet) detection function is used to check all kinds of banknotes
which contain ‘UV’ features.
The ‘UV’ function is automatically turned on by default when the machine is powered
up. It can also be selected or deselected by pressing the ‘UV’ button located in the
function console. If the machine detects a counterfeit note during counting, it will
stop and emit a beeping sound, while the counting display will show the message
‘E-2’ and the ‘UV’ indicator will blink (alerting the presence of a suspicious bill). The
suspicious bill will always be the last one in the stacker. Remove suspicious bill and
press the ’RESTART’ button to continue counting.
PLEASE NOTE: There are 10 levels of ‘UV’ for selection: Hold the ‘RESTART’ button for
5 seconds until the counting display window shows ‘OP-A’ and the ‘BATCH’ display
window shows one digit of the number ’00-10’. Press the ‘–‘ button to select ‘UV’ for
sensitivity as required (the higher the number setting, the higher the ‘UV’ sensitivity).

which contain ‘MG’ features.

ing, it will stop counting and emit a beeping sound, while the counting display will
show the message ‘E-3’ and the ‘MG’ indicator will blink (alerting the presence of a
suspicious bill). The suspicious bill will always be the last one in the stacker. Remove
