Chapter 3- Single Machine Installation

database may be accessed by the AIR ID application files

residing on any machine on the network.

Database Files

Select this component to install the database files locally.

This is selected by default since we have specified a non-

Enterprise Client installation.

Hit the Next button to proceed to the next screen.

Select Program Folder

Select the Program Folder name you would like to appear in the

[Start]-[Programs] menu for this installation. The default is AIR ID.

Application Support Destination Folder [Win95/98 Only]

Choose the location for the local copy of the AIR ID Logon system

support files by accepting the default or by using the Browse

button. Due to the nature of some of these files, they must be

located in a path that adheres to the older '8.3' file format with no

spaces. The default directory is C:\RFIDTLC. After making the

entries, select the Next button to continue to the component screen.

Summary of Selections

Make sure that the Current Settings list agrees with your selections

and then proceed to the actual file copy installation by pressing

Next.

Display

You can choose to display the Readme.txt file for up to date

information on AIR ID by selecting the View Readme checkbox.

You can also choose to launch AIR ID by selecting the Run AIR ID

checkbox.

Restart

You must Restart the workstation at this time. Answer Yes to

restart your computer or No if you would like to clean up any

opened applications before manually restarting the workstation.
