Enroll Users: Auto-Enrollment or Administrative Enrollment
Once the installation process is complete, the administrator will
need to decide how the users will be enrolled into the system. Both
Single Machine and Enterprise Operation allow users to be enrolled
into the system using either of two different methods.
Auto-Enrollment – Using this method, the users automatically
enroll themselves into the system thereby freeing the administrator
of this task. Users require:
1. Their proximity card, and
2. Their current logon credentials (Username, password, and
Domain
After AIR ID is installed on the client, the user reboots and manually
performs a logon with their card on the pcProx reader. If they can
logon successfully, the AIR ID system will automatically enroll their
credentials and associate these with the user’s proximity card.
Administrative Enrollment – This method requires the
administrator to enroll each user individually using the AIR ID ‘Add
User’ button (see AIR ID User’s Guide for more details).
