Subject: People’s Republic of China Electronic Industry Standards SJ/T 11363 – 2006 and SJ/T

11364-2006 for Concentration Limits for Certain Hazardous Substances in Electronic Information

Products, (EIP) and Marking for Control of Pollution Caused by EIP.

All molded products produced and supplied by Heyco Products, Inc. do not contain any

hazardous substances as per the above referenced standard.

Metal stamped products of Heyco do contain lead of approximately 0.3%, which exceeds the

concentration limit of 0.1% as per the above referenced standard for concentration limits. This

amount of lead however, meets the requirements for the Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous

Substances, (RoHS) EU Directive 2002/95/EC, including amendment 2005/618/EC (version dated

2005 August 18), for the exception of copper alloys. This is the only reportable hazardous substance

contained in the copper alloy used for Heyco metal stamped products.

Since all products supplied by Heyco are compliant to existing industry regulations and

standards, and have been compliant since inception, there are no plans to provide any additional

marking or labeling to indicate compliance to the above referenced standards for “Electronic

Information Products”.

Based upon information from our suppliers and our manufacturing processes, raw material

used meets all requirements for non-use of hazardous substances. Additionally, no components or

any other materials are added to the process that would affect or alter toxicity of the finished

products.
