Identification is a
request from an
external tool. The
intent is to make a
visible indication on a
selected QC1000, so
that it can be
distinguished from
other QC1000s on
the same vehicle.
After identification
mode, LED bar
indication reverts
back to the correct
indication based on
status.

5.14 SIM Card and eSIM capabilities
SIM card form factor: nano
SIM card holder is located on the PCD within the QC1000 housing. Do NOT open QC1000 at
any time Installation of SIM card must be performed by a Hexagon qualified workshop.
QC1000 features a eUICC (Embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card) also known as eSIM.
