5.7 Ethernet
It is possible to connect the QC1000 unit to the LAN of the vehicle via Ethernet cable. The unit
communicates either with 10Base-T or 100Base-T. The Smart Antenna can be connected to a
router as a client or act as the router. Furthermore, it can provide the DHCP service in the sub-
network (default). If another DHCP server is defined to provide this service, the Smart Antenna
DHCP must be disabled.
