The configuration menu will appear and offers the following settings:
- Random query: When the Random query is activated the vocabulary of one topic to
learn is tested in a random order; when the Random query is switched off, the vocabu-
lary will be tested in the order they are listed in the topic to learn.
NOTE:
If the Random query and the Step-by-step mode are both activated, the vocabulary wih
the lowest numbers will be tested in random order.
- Repeat rate: Here you can determine the number of "card box sections", i.e. how many
sections an item of vocabulary must travel through before it counts as "learnt". The higher
the number of repeats, the greater is your practice and therefore your chances of success
in learning.
- Step-by-step mode: This means that unknown or not learnt vocabulary (with the lowest
numbers) will always be tested before known vocabulary (with higher numbers) are tested
again.
- Auto-delete favorites: This setting relates to the topic to learn Favorites. Auto-delete
favorites: When this setting is switched on, an entry or item of vocabulary will be auto-
matically deleted from the topic to learn when it is "learned", i.e. the item has successfully
passed through all sections and is now in the last section. Entries in the individual entry
display of the topic to learn will be automatically scrolled through in to the period of time
set here.
- Timer: Here you can determine the time period within the timer mode. Entries in the
individual entry display of the topic to learn will be automatically scrolled through in to the
period of time set here.
You can move through the setting options using ▼ or ▲ or the number keys. You can
change the settings with ► and ◄ or the display keys Set- Set+.
