- If you make a spelling mistake, move the cursor to the error using the ◄ and ► keys and
then use the DELETE key to delete individual characters and/or enter new characters.
- Press esc to discard the whole of the input and type in a new word.
- The search string can contain one line maximum.
13. Comfort functions dictionary
Dictionary configuration
You can make numerous settings in the dictionary configuration to influence the results and
display of searches. You can switch off or deactivate individual settings with the left display
key Off and switch on or activate functions with the right display key On. An activated func-
tion is symbolised by a little crossed box. A deactivated function is symbolised by an empty
little box. You can also determine the priority of the built-in dictionaries in your search by
pressing the middle display key Sort. The following settings are possible:
1. General dictionary: You can decide here whether or not the general dictionary (main
dictionary) should be consulted in your search. You can also decide at which place in
lists the search results from this dictionary are shown with its position in the dictionary
configuration.
2. Business dictionary: You can decide here whether or not the business dictionary
should be consulted in your search. With its position in the dictionary configuration you
can also decide in which place in lists the search results from this dictionary are
shown.
3. Technology dictionary: You can decide here whether or not the technology dictionary
should be consulted in your search. You can also decide at which place in lists the
search results from this dictionary are shown with its position in the dictionary configu-
ration.
4. Gastronomic dictionary: You can decide here whether or not the supplementary
dictionary of gastronomic terms should be consulted in your search. You can also de-
cide at which place in lists the search results from this dictionary are shown with its po-
sition in the dictionary configuration.
5. Phrase dictionary: You can decide here whether or not entries of examples of
phrases should be consulted in your search. You can also decide at which place in
lists the search results from this dictionary are shown with its position in the dictionary
configuration.
6. User dictionary: You can decide here whether or not entries from the user dictionary
should be consulted in your search. You can also decide at which place in lists the
search results from this dictionary are shown with its position in the dictionary configu-
ration.
NOTE:
At least one dictionary must be activated.
7. Incremental suggestion list: switches on or off the incremental suggestions list. On
each entry of a letter the incremental suggestions list shows you matching suggestions
from the dictionary. Diag. VI:
a) Search with activated incremental suggestions list
b) Search with deactivated incremental suggestions list.
8. Preview: Activates the preview, i.e. the first three lines of the dictionary entry will be
shown for a selected item on a list. Diag. VII:
