Front-facing webcamera
Description Spare part number
Front-facing webcamera (includes cable) 833744-001
Before removing the front-facing webcamera, follow these steps:
1. Turn o the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is o, turn the tablet on, and then shut it down
through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the tablet by unplugging the power adapter cord from the tablet.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the tablet.
4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 13).
5. Remove the speaker (see Speaker on page 14).
6. Remove the rear-facing webcamera (see Rear-facing webcamera on page 14).
7. Remove the antenna board (see Antenna board on page 16).
8. Remove the touch screen board (see Touch screen board and display cable on page 17).
9. Remove the power/volume button board (see Power/volume button board on page 18).
10. Remove the system board (see System board on page 19).
Remove the front-facing webcamera:
1. Release the ZIF connector (1) that secures the front-facing webcamera cable to the system board.
2. Remove the front-facing webcamera (2) from the display panel assembly.
Reverse this procedure to install the front-facing webcamera.
