This upgrade is performed as a clean install and all system configuration will be lost
including share configurations, so a full backup of the data should be done prior to
upgrading
* A minimum of two OS drives that are the same type and capacity (146GB minimum)
must be present in the system before installation.
NOTE:
Some expansion cards, including HBAs and NICs, may not be supported by
Windows Storage Server 2012. Check Windows Server 2012 driver availability before
purchase and installation. All original components that were standard on the X3800 G2
are supported.
NOTE:
Check for HP and 3rd-party software qualification with the Windows Storage
Server 2012 operating system before purchase and installation.
