You can move within a music track using 3 controls:
- Play the music track with DJ Control MP3 e2’s Play buttons. This is the
simplest way: just press the Play button of the selected deck on your controller,
and you can hear the track on your headphones at the position you have
reached,
- Move within the track
the most precise way: turn the j
your position moving in the waveform window,
- Go forwards and backwards by pressing the
bu ons. This is the fastest tt way: you see your position with the music track in
the small waveform preview placed over the virtual vinyl record image in the
VirtualDJ display.
)e Setting a Cue point
A Cue point is a bookmark of the moment in the music file where you want to
start playing the music file for your audience, to avoid the slower start of the
music track if it is too slow for dancing. This bookmark is intended to start
ayipl ng the music file only once its beat is strong enough for dancing, since
low introduction of the music with no beat may interrupt the dancing rhythm.
