PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Solubility in Water: Insoluble
Appearance and color: Smooth Gray Paste with Mild odor.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
To preserve material remaining in cartridge, save the cut off tip. After use, insert the tip, point first,
into the open end of the spout. Over prolonged period additional material in spout may cure,
requiring cutting larger spout opening and removal of cured material.
DIRECTIONS FOR SEALING SOIL PIPE JOINTS
1. Apply bead of Plastic Seal around inside and shelf of bell and on outside of the rim of
spigot.
2. Join pipe immediately and apply single ring of oakum, ramming down thoroughly.
3. Apply another bead of Plastic Seal (1/8” to 1/4“) into joint and ram in second ring of
oakum.
4. Repeat operation #3 until joint is filled within 1/4“ of top of bell.
5. Tamp and spread Plastic Seal into space in joint and smooth to be level with bell flange.
6. Allow Plastic Seal to cure for 4 to 6 hours before using line.
7. Plastic Seal may be used without oakum to fill the entire joint gap, however a full 24 hour
cure period will be required before using the line.
FOR CRACKS, SEAMS OR JOINTS: Wipe surface clean. Apply a bead of Plastic Seal into crevices
or on mating surfaces before joining.
FOR BROKEN PARTS: Use Hercules Pro Poxy 20 or Plastic Poxy.

 Keep out of reach of children.
 Contains polyurethane diisocyanate resin (non-TDI). Avoid contact with skin; wash with
soap and water after use.
