SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS
Grrip may be used on these materials:- Aluminum, Black
Iron, Brass, Copper, Galvanized Steel, Glass, Monel, PVC,
Plastic (P.E. Reinforced), Stainless Steel and many others*.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Pressure Rating: Liquids 12,000 psi
Gases 2,600 psi
Temperature Limitations -90°F to +450°F
Brushability 20°F
WARNINGS OR CAUTIONS
Combustible mixture. Do not use near fire or flame. Not for
use on natural rubber, synthetic rubber, strong or concentrat-
ed acids, alkalis and oxygen carrying lines. Do not use for
alcohol or gasohol. Not for use on CPVC (use Hercules
Megaloc
TM
).
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
FOR THREADED JOINTS: Apply Grrip to clean male
threads, brushing well into the root of the threads. Assemble
as usual.
FOR FLANGES AND GASKETS: Apply a coat of Grrip to
both sides of flange and gasket. Allow to set five minutes.
Then assemble.
KEEP CONTAINER CLOSED TIGHTLY WHEN NOT IN USE
