Install sealing fitting
into junction box.
Install black 1/2” x 1 1/2” heat-shrink
tube as shown.
While tube is till hot, pinch
with pliers between bus wires
to seal; hold for 10 to 15
seconds.

Slip green/yellow
tube over braid
and shrink.
A 3/4” x 6” shrink sleeve is to be
applied to the cable to lock it in
place in the electric connection to
prevent it from slipping in the fitting.
Prior to locking the heat cable
in the electric connection, a
heat shrink sleeve is to be
added to the cable end where
the compression ring grommet
will be located.
Slide sealing fitting components
to position at core sealer.
Insert heating cable through sealing fitting
and tighten components into place.
Connect heating cable leads to power
wire leads. Ground braid pigtail to
ground wire using crimp connector or
grounding screw and ring terminal.
