Installation

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
NOTE: Ensure you have the original
owner’s manual for reference while
completing this installation process.
□ If the Reverse Osmosis (RO) system
is attached to an icemaker, the
icemaker must be turned OFF.
□ To avoid contamination, wash hands
with anti-bacterial soap before
replacing the membrane.
□ Turn off the cold water supply.
□ Turn on the RO faucet and drain the
tank. After several minutes when the
tank is completely drained, turn the
RO faucet OFF.
CAUTION: If the tank shut-off or water
supply valve is not closed, the water will
run out or spray when the membrane is
removed.

NOTE: You must refer to the original
sanitization steps.
□ Disconnect the tubing and remove
the RO Membrane cap. Then remove
the used RO Membrane cartridge.
Discard the used cartridge and
place in a plastic bag for disposal.
Wipe the cap and housing with a
clean towel and rinse well. Insert
the new membrane cartridge with

FLUSHING THE SYSTEM
