Reset Water Filter
1. Remove the existing filter by rotating it
counter clockwise.
2. Remove packaging and carefully
remove the sanitary cap from the top
of the new filter.
3. Locate the Start arrow found on the
top of the filter label. Align the Start
arrow with the arrow on the refrigerator
filter housing.
4. Apply upward pressure and rotate the
filter clockwise until the Stop arrow on
the front of the filter is aligned with the
arrow on the refrigerator filter housing.
Ensure the filter is fully installed a full
¼ turn. If the filter is not turned ¼ turn,
the valve will not fully open, this can
cause a slow water flow or a chattering
noise to occur during use.
5. Run approximately 2.5 gallons of water
from the dispenser periodically to clear
the system and to receive a good flow.
If the water flow is slower than usual,
please repeat Steps 3 and 4.
Note: Initial flow rate may be slower than expected.
Full flow rate should be restored within 24-36 hours.
6. Check the filter for any noticable leaks.
If leaks are detected, please repeat
Steps 3 and 4.
7. To reset the filter monitor light; please
refer to your refrigerator owner’s
manual for specific instructions.
1. Retire el filtro existente girando en sentido
contrario a las agujas del reloj.
2. Retira el empaque y el tapón sanitario del
nuevo filtro.
3. Busque la flecha de inicio en la parte
superior de la etiqueta del filtro. Alinee la
flecha de inicio en el filtro de agua con la
flecha en la carcasa del filtro.
4. Aplica presión al alza y gire el filtro hacia la
derecha hasta la parada de flecha en la
parte frontal del filtro está alineada con la
flecha en la carcasa del filtro. Asegúrese
de que el filtro esté completamente
instalado un completo cuarto de vuelta. Si
el filtro no se gira un cuarto de vuelta, la
válvula no se va abrir completamente,

5. Descarga aproximadamente 2,5 litros de
agua del dispensador periódicamente para
aclarar el sistema y para recibir un buen
flujo. Si el flujo de agua es más lento de lo
habitual, por favor, repita pasos 3 y 4.
Nota: Flujo inicial puede ser más lenta de lo esperado.
Flujo total se debe restaurar dentro de 24-36 horas.
6. Inspecciona el filtro de flujas. Si se
detectan fugas, por favor, repita pasos 3 y
4.
7. Para restablecer la luz de control del filtro,
consulte el manual del propietario de su
refrigerador para obtener instrucciones
específicas.

Warning: To reduce the risk of property damage from water leakage, the
filter bypass plug MUST be used when a filter replacement cartridge is not
installed. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of
unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
Protect from freezing. REPLACE FILTER EVERY 6 MONTHS, OR IF BAD
TASTE OR ODOR OCCURS. The risk associated with small parts can cause
choking if swallowed. Keep children away from small parts during the
replacement of the water filter.
