Do not leave any pneumatic tool unattended if it is connected to a compressed air sup-
ply. Always wear personal protective equipment!
• Do not point the tool at any person. Keep
children and other persons out of the work
area when operating the tool.
• Do not use the tool in no-load operation.
Tools such as chisels etc. may break off and
be hurled around and may cause severe
injury to the user or to persons in the work
area.
• Do not allow pneumatic tools to come
into contact with sources of electricity.
• Pay attention to the working pressure!
For the max. air pressure please refer to
the respective operating instruction or
application note.
Exceeding the approved
maximum pressure of tools and accessories
can cause explosions and may result in
severe injuries. The maximum pressure of
the compressed air must be equal or inferior
to the approved pressure load indicated for
the air drill.
• Check tight fit of the air hose connec
-
tions. Do not use defective or worn pres-
sure hoses or adapters of inferior qual-
ity.
Uncontrollably moving pressure hoses
may cause severe injuries.
• Only disconnect pneumatic tools in an
unpressurized state. Uncontrollably mov
-
ing
pressure hoses may cause severe inju-
ries.
• Use
clean and dry air only. Never use oxy-
gen,
carbon dioxid or other bottled gases to
power pneumatic tools.
• Only use spare parts, attachments and
accessories recommended by the manu
-
facturer.
•
Never carry the tool by the compressed
air hose.
• Never carry the connected tool with a
finger on the actuation lever.
• Avoid unintentional activation.
• Always keep the handles dry, clean and
free of grease or oil.
• Ensure that the working area is clean,
well ventilated and always well lit.
• Never use the tool while under the influ-
ence of alcohol or drugs.
•
Labels on the tool must always be kept
legible.
• The maintenance and operation of pneu-
matic tools is exclusively permitted to per-
sons who have been instructed accord-
ingly.
•
Repair work must be carried out exclu-
sively by authorized persons.
•
It is strictly forbidden to manipulate or
misuse pneumatic tools or to effect emer
-
gency repairs.
•
Do not reach into the working area of the
pneumatic tool during operation.
• In the case of leakages or other malfunc
-
tions, the appliance must be immediately
disconnected
from the compressed air
supply and the cause of troubles has to be
eliminated.
• Do not use quick-release couplings direct
-
ly at the tool. There
must be a pressure hose
of at least 20 cm length between the tool and
the quick-release coupling.
• Ensure air hose is disconnected when
changing chisels, needles, sockets etc.
• Before lubricating or changing chisels, nee
-
dles
or sockets always disconnect the pneu-
matic
tool from the compressed air supply.
• Regularly check the tools for functional effi-
ciency.
•
Only use tools that are intended for the use
with the respective device, i.e. chisels for
pneumatic chisels, grinding wheels and abra
-
sive
belts for pneumatic grinding tools etc.
• Please observe the reaction torque. Pay
attention to the reaction moment and to a
possible breakage of the tool. In confined
spaces, reaction torques may lead to severe
injuries. Countermeasures must be taken
against unexpected reaction torques.
• Permanent vibration may cause damage to
your health.
• Take care to maintain a safe, balanced posi
-
tion
when working.
