Live-line working only permissible when using
HAZET operating tools which are marked with
1000V and conform to IEC 60900: 2012.
VDE tools may only be used by trained
specialist personnel.
CAUTION: Before each use, a visual inspection of every hand
tool must be made by the user to ensure the integrity of the
insulation. If there is doubt concerning its safety, the hand
tool may not be used and should either be scrapped or inspected by a
specialist and, if necessary, rechecked.
It is recommended that an appropriately trained person carries out
an annual visual inspection and functional check to determine the
suitability of the hand tool for further use. If, according to national
regulations or buyer's specifications or otherwise in cases of doubt
after a visual inspection, a further voltage test is required, a voltage
test should be carried out in accordance with DIN EN 60900 for
insulated or insulating tools.
NOTE: Torque wrenches must be checked and adjusted
annually or after 5000 releases in accordance with DIN EN
ISO 6789:2003.
CAUTION: Only tools that conform to IEC60990
specifications may be connected to each other.
The torque wrench is only to be used for tightening screw
connections, not for loosening.
Application: HAZET 5108 VDE and 5109 VDE
To attach a VDE socket, press the
lock/unlock button and insert the
socket.
To ensure that the complete
assembly of the tool made from
insulated tool components from
various manufacturers is able to
withstand separating forces, as
are expected during intended use,
the user must make sure that the
holding mechanisms of all parts
used are effective before use by
manually tightening in the direction of
separation.
To set the desired torque value, pull
the locking sleeve back and adjust by
turning the handle. Then ensure the
locking sleeve is properly locked into
place.
To use the torque wrench for
counterclockwise tightening, grip the
sliding square from underneath and
pull out the sliding square by pressing
the lock/unlock button and insert it
again on the desired (other) side. Press
the lock/unlock button here too.
Maintenance and care:
Clean the wrench only with a dry cloth. Do not use solvents otherwise
the insulation will be damaged.
Storage:
After using the torque wrench, the setting must be set to the lowest
scale value on the Nm scale, in order to relieve the compression
springs and thereby prevent the spring force from being exhausted.
CAUTION: Insulated hand tools must be kept in a safe place.
The insulation must not be damaged!
Only store and transport in original packaging!
NOTE: Insulated and insulating hand tools must be kept in
a safe place in order to minimise the risk of damage to
insulation caused by storage and transport. These hand
tools should generally be stored separately from other tools to prevent
mechanical damage and avoid confusion. It should also be ensured
that the tools are not stored near strong heat sources or sources of UV
radiation.
Do not dispose in household waste
