Design and function
5. Operation
The work process is initiated by pressing the pump
lever with the foot. After continuous operation of
the foot lever, the pump switches off automatically
with an audible click at 700 bar. The pump is
equipped with a dual cylinder that features a rapid
charging stroke and a slow working stroke.
After activation of the overpressure valve, the pis
-
ton is moved back by pressing the release pedal
(1) of the foot pump.
The tool can be used in a temperature range of
-20 °C to +40 °C, indoors and outdoors.
Please keep these operating instructions. Read
and comply with it for your own safety.
Ensure that the user is aware of the dangers that
may occur in connection with the use of this
product.
4. Before use
Ensure that hydraulic tools are always
used, inspected and maintained in
compliance with the respective local,
state, national or federal regulations.
Only use hydraulic hoses with connection couplings
that fit the seal nipple.
Properly connect hydraulic lines. Ensure that parts
and connections are kept clean.
The two-stage foot pump must be checked for any
oil leaks and/or damage before each instance of
use and must not be used if the tool is not in perfect
technical condition.
Press the pump lever (6) downwards and move the
transportation lock (4) to the side.
Check the oil level before use, and top up if re
-
quired.
Never operate the pump without a work unit!
Always completely unroll the high pressure hose.
Connect the coupling of the hydraulic hose onto
the connection nipple of the HAZET hollow piston
cylinder 4932-17.
