1. Owner’s liability
This tool was developed and manufactured accord-
ing to the applicable regulations and norms valid
at the time of its construction and is considered to
be operationally reliable. Nevertheless, the tool can
present a danger when it is not used as intended
or in an inappropriate way by non-qualified per
-
sonnel. All persons using this tool or carrying out
maintenance work theron must carefully read and
understand these operating instructions before
commencing work and are aware of how to handle
hydraulic components.
Any modification of the tool is strictly forbidden.
All security advices, warning and operation notices
on the tool have to be kept legible. Immediately
replace all damaged labels or stickers.
All indications concerning setting values and setting
ranges must be observed.
Always keep the operating instructions close to
the device.
Specialist technical knowledge and/or suitable
training is required for the use and repair of this
tool.
2. Intended use
Operational reliability is only guaranteed if
the device is used as intended in accordance with the
information in the operating instructions. In addition to
the safety advice in these operating instructions, the
general safety regulations, regulations for the preven
-
tion of accidents and regulations for environmental
protection valid for the application area of this tool
have to be observed and respected.
Always ensure that the use and maintenance of
the tool complies with relevant local and national
regulations.
The tool must only be used if it is in good working
order. If the pump is jerky or noisy in operation, or
if oil leaks and/or damage is visible, the tool must
be taken out of service and checked.
All safety equipment must always be within reach
and should be checked regularly.
The HAZET two-stage foot pump 4932 N-100
serves to operate the HAZET hollow piston cyl
-
inder 4932-17. When operating other hydraulic
aggregates, the operating and safety instructions
supplied by the manufacturer of these aggregates
must be observed.
The HAZET two-stage foot pump is designed for
a maximum operating pressure of 700 bar.
The HAZET hydraulic pump must be operated on
firm ground and must not be inclined at more than
15°.
It is essential that the hydraulic hose is of sufficient
length.
The bending radius of the hose must not be less
than 35 mm.
Overloading can cause failure of the hydraulic
system and can hence cause damage to body,
health or property.
Never exceed the maximum load.
Incorrect use of the HAZET two-stage foot pump
or use whilst failing to comply with the safety in
-
structions can result in serious injury or death.
Any other kind of use and/or use that goes beyond
the intended use of the device is prohibited and is
deemed to be improper.
Any claims against the manufacturer and/or its
authorized agents because of damage caused by
improper use of the tool are void.
Any personal injury or material losses caused by
improper use of the device are the sole responsi
-
bility of the owner.
