3. Before starting the operation
Please take care to read through
these operating instructions to
avoid any injury to persons, and
to avoid damage to tools or
vehicles.
Before each use, check the wheel bearing
tool for full functionality. Do not use the
wheel bearing tool if its functional effi-
ciency cannot be ensured or if damage is
detected.
There is a risk of injury if these precautions
are not observed!
Follow the instructions of the vehicle man-
ufacturer in question.
Repair work to the chassis must only be
carried out by specialist personnel who
have received the relevant training.

4. Preconditions for use:
The work-surface must be level and at a
right-angle to the bore axis.
Grease the threaded spindle 4930-1
a
prior to each use!
The maximum tractive power of the
threaded spindle 4930-1
a
is 120 KN.
The tools required must be determined
in accordance with the dimensions of the
wheel bearings:
The centring bushing

is determined by
the inner wheel bearing diameter.
The thrust washer

and housing

are
determined by the outer wheel bearing
diameter.
Any deviation from the intended use and/
or any misapplication of the tools is not
allowed and will be considered as improper
use.
Any claims against the manufacturer and/
or its authorized agents because of damage
caused by improper use of the device are
void.
Any personal injury or material losses
caused by improper use of the device are
the sole responsibility of the owner.
Grease the threaded spindle 4930-1 prior to
each use!
When operating the spindle, do not reach
into the pulling device. Otherwise you risk
serious injury.
