d. Source wireless connection does not have an
active Internet connection. Please check with
the source to troubleshoot.
e. If you just can’t connect to one or more
websites, but you can still use other Internet
services, please check URL/Keyword filter.
f. Try to reset the Outdoor Wireless-N Smart
Repeater and try again later.
g. Check to see if the source wireless network
has DHCP enabled. If not ensure that you
have the correct static IP settings entered.

File download is very
slow or breaks
frequently
a. Are you using QoS function? Try to disable it
and try again.
b. Source Internet connection is poor
c. Connection to source wireless network is poor.
A stronger antenna or directional antenna may
be needed in place of the Source Antenna on
the Repeater.
d. Try to reset the Outdoor Wireless-N Smart
Repeater
e. Multiple users may be accessing the Internet
simultaneously. Attempt to download the file
at another time.
f. Contact Hawking Tech Support
I can’t log onto web
management interface:
password is wrong
a. Make sure you’re connecting to the correct IP
address of the Outdoor Wireless-N Smart
Repeater!
b. Password is case-sensitive. Make sure the
‘Caps Lock’ light is not illuminated.
c. If you really forgot the password, do a hard reset.
Outdoor Wireless-N
Smart Repeater
becomes hot
a. This is not a malfunction, as long as it is not so
hot that you cannot touch it for a prolonged
period of time
b. If you smell something wrong or see smoke
coming out from Outdoor Wireless-N Smart
Repeater or A/C power adapter, please
disconnect the Outdoor Wireless-N Smart
