4-6 Firmware Upgrade
The system software used by this Smart Dish Repeater is known as ‘firmware’, just like
any applications on your computer, when you replace the old application with a new one;
your hardware will be equipped with new functions. You can also use this firmware
upgrade to add new functions to your Smart Dish Repeater, even fix the bugs on this
Smart Dish Repeater.
To upgrade firmware, follow these instructions:
Check what version of the firmware you have. Go to www.hawkingtech.com to check
what the latest firmware version is. If your current version is older than the one on our
website, download the firmware file, save it to your computer and proceed with the
following steps.
Please click “Tools” tab located at the upper-right corner of web management interface,
then click “Firmware Upgrade”. The following message will be displayed on your web
browser:
