ROOF MOUNTED LOAD LIGHT
TOOLS REQUIRED:
Power drill
Caulk gun with silicone
3/8” drill bit
Safety goggles
Wrench set
HARDWARE SUPPLIED:
1 Work Light with Double Lamp HE-90600B
2 5/16 -18 x 1” Stainless Hex Head Bolt GSM34010
2 5/16-18 Nylock Nut GSM30017
2 5/16” x 1 ½” Fender Washer GSM31019
1 3/8” Plastic Grommet GSM20003
1 Light mounting Bracket PRM97310
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Note: Mounting and wiring must be done prior to prisoner compartment installation.
1. Bolt light fixture to the mounting bracket. (End with 2” flange and one hole).
Overall bracket size is 10 ½” long by 2” wide.
2. Position load light bracket in desired location on roof: Recommended location is
to center light above door opening on side or rear of van. If there is a third brake
light, position the work light over the third brake light not on top of light.
3. Mark and drill three (3) 3/8” diameter holes. Bolt the bracket assembly on with
two (2) stainless steel 5/16-18 x 1” bolts, nuts and fender washers.
4. The 3
rd
3/8” diameter hole is for the wire. Wire goes through the roof and the
bracket. Insert 3/8” plastic grommet in the hole from inside van going outside.
Run wire through the bracket and grommet. Silicone the hole.
5. Follow the attached wiring diagram for the standard 3-way switching included in
kit. This gives the option of turning light on from the cab of the vehicle or the
rear or side doors.

Note: If desired, light can be activated with a single pole single throw switch in the dash.
