General Information:
Prevent cats and dogs from digging in lawns, gardens, and mulch beds with this long-lasting formula.
Havahart® Cat & Dog Granular Animal Repellent is an animal behavior modification tool that can be used
as a training aid for your pet. This product contains active ingredients that irritate cats and dogs when they
smell or taste the product. This product dries odorless to humans and is safe for use around people, pets,
and plants.
Application Directions:
This product can be used to spot treat areas such as potted plants or garbage can locations. It may also be
used as a perimeter or barrier treatment. Open bottle and spread lightly. Sprinkle the product in bands
6-8 inches wide around the area you wish to protect. Application may be made at the rate of 1 lb.
per 300 sq. ft. Do not apply directly to feed crops intended for human consumption. Apply in dry conditions.
Reapply every 60 days, and when new growth occurs. Apply more frequently during times of rapid growth.
More frequent application may be needed during periods of prolonged, heavy or frequent rainfall.
For outdoor use only. Do not apply directly to water. Use training whenever possible, including
positive (praise) and negative (sharply spoken words backed up with disciplinary action) reinforcement.
Storage & Disposal:
Storage: Store in original container in a cool, dry area inaccessible to children and pets. Protect from
freezing and heat. Keep container tightly closed to prevent evaporation.Container Disposal: Do not reuse
or refill this container. Place empty container in trash or offer for recycling if available.
Precautionary Statements & First Aid:
Can cause moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap
and water after handling. In case of skin irritation wash area with plenty of water. If in eyes, hold eye
open and rinse slowly and gently with water. Remove contact lenses, if present, then continue rinsing eye.
If irritation persists, seek medical treatment.
