To turn the collar off, push the On/Off button. A red LED light will appear. Hold the button for 2-
3 seconds and the collar will buzz. Release the button and the collar will be turned off.
Note: If your dog is sleeping or inactive the collar will go into sleep mode (power saving mode) and
will “wake up” immediately when motion is detected.
LINKING THE REMOTE TRAINER TO THE COLLAR
If this is the first time using the collar or if you have purchased a second collar, you’ll need to
follow a simple series of steps to assure your collar is linked to the remote handheld trainer.
The handheld remote trainer doesn’t have an on/off switch. It will automatically turn on when
you push any button. If it does not receive any input after 5 seconds, it will go into a power
saving “sleep mode.”
• To get started, turn the collar on
• Press the remote trainer Dog Selector button to Collar 1. Always sync Collar 1 first.
• Next press and hold the Stimulus Level button on the remote. Following this immediately press
and hold the Dog Selector button on the remote. Hold both buttons for approximately 5 seconds.
“P” will appear on the remote display indicating the remote is in syncing mode.
• Release the two buttons and immediately hold the collar close to the trainer. Press the On/Off
button on the collar 3 times quickly, the red LED will flash each time the button is pressed.
• The collar will flash red and green and sound a tone to indicate it is in syncing mode. When the
collar links to the remote trainer the trainer will blink “S” (indicating sync), as well as blinking
the respective LED to indicate the collar (Collar 1) was just synced.
If training 2 different dogs, press the Dog Selector button to Collar 2 and repeat the syncing
process with the additional collar.
When using two collars always sync Collar 1 followed by Collar 2. Failure to sync in sequence
will mean that Collar 2, if synced first, will override Collar 1.
SETTING THE STATIC STIMULUS LEVEL
The Remote Trainer offers you two training modes – Stimulus with Tone or Tone Only. There are
5 levels of static stimulus with tone.
Your hand held remote comes preset at Level 1. Always start with this level and check your dog’s
response to the static stimulus. You should always use the lowest level necessary to get the
desired response. As a safety feature, the unit automatically shuts off if a button is pressed for 10
seconds.
The current static stimulus level should appear in the LED display on the remote trainer. To
increase it, make sure the trainer is set on the correct Collar 1 or Collar 2 setting, then push the

sessions (over the course of 2 days). This adjustment period will deliver better learning, as your
dog will not become collar-wise, that is, only obeying commands when wearing the collar.
IMPORTANT: Never leave collar on the dog for more than 12 consecutive hours.
Turning Collar On & Off:
To turn collar on, push the On/Off button. A green LED light will appear. Hold the button for 2-3
seconds and the collar will buzz. Release the button – your collar is now ready to go.
