SAFE USE PRACTICES FOR JUMPERS (continued)
• DO NOT jump into the trampoline from an outside source. Hitting the frame or safety pad, or incorrectly
landing on the trampoline can lead to injury.
• DO NOT hang from, kick, cut, or climb on the safety net enclosure.
• DO NOT try to jump over the enclosure or crawl under the safety net enclosure.
• DO NOT intentionally jump into the safety net enclosure, which is designed only to stop persons from
falling off the trampoline. Doing so may cause the trampoline and enclosure to tip over or damage the
safety net. Misuse of the safety net is not covered by warranty.
• DO NOT sit or lean on the safety pad; it needs to move freely with the jumping mat.
• Keep all extremities away from moving parts of the trampoline.
• Learn fundamental bounces and body positions thoroughly before trying more advanced skills. A
variety of trampoline activities can be carried out by performing the basic fundamentals in various
series and combinations, performing one fundamental move after another, with or without feet
bounces between them. For more information, see the section on Fundamental Bounce Techniques
in this User Manual.
• While keeping the head erect, focus eyes on the trampoline toward the perimeter. This will help control
bounce.
• Stop bounce by exing knees as feet come in contact with the trampoline jumping mat. Learn this skill
before attempting others.
• Avoid bouncing too high. Stay low until bounce control and repeated landing in the center of the
trampoline can be accomplished. Control is more important than height.
• Avoid bouncing when tired. Keep turns short.
• DO NOT attempt somersaults on the trampoline. Incorrect landings on the trampoline can lead to
injuries, particularly to the back, neck, or head. These injuries may lead to paralysis or even death.
• For information concerning skill training, contact a certied trampoline instructor.
