8.1 ERROR MESSAGES
If any error message is displayed on the Sensor Unit
Display or on the Camera Grip Display, follow these
instructions.
Caution!
Be careful when you attach and remove the
components to, and from, the camera. This will help
prevent damage to the data-bus connections.
1 Remove the components from the camera.
2 Attach the components to the camera again.
If the error message is still displayed, do as follows:
1 Remove the battery grip.
2 Wait 10 seconds.
3 Attach the battery grip again.
The camera’s processor has now been reset.
If the error message is still displayed, do as follows:
1 Write down the error message.
2 Contact your local Hasselblad dealer.
8.2 BATTERY RESET
If the camera suddenly shuts down even if battery
status seem OK, one possible cause could be that the
battery charge counter has come out of sync. Follow
the procedure below to synchronize.
1 Charge the battery to full capacity (charge between
4-12 hours). Remember to plug the charger into
the battery rst, then plug the charger into the
outlet.
2 Once charged remove the battery from the charger.
Do not attach the battery to the camera.
3 Without the battery attached, simultaneously press
and hold the Menu and WB button on the grip. The
menu button is the top button on the right with the
video icon and the three white lines.
4 Continue holding these two buttons and attach
the battery to the camera. If you hear a beeping
sound, then the re-programming of the battery is
successful, otherwise repeat steps 2 and 3 until
the sound is heard.
5 Turn on the camera and conrm battery status has
been reset to 100%.
6 Camera and battery are now ready for use.
