Note!
The 907X Control Grip adds separate control wheels for aper-
ture/shutter speed and quick adjust as well as other controls
for convenient hand-held use. See more on page 94.
Settings on the Control screen
Exposure Mode
Tap the Exposure mode icon (
A
) to set exposure mode.
M
Manual mode
. Set aperture by turning the control
wheel (
D
). Set shutter speed by pressing the shift
button (
E
) and turning the control wheel (
D
).
MQ
Manual Quick mode
. Similar to manual mode
but the lens shutter is always closed to minimize
reaction speed. Live view is disabled.
A
Aperture priority mode
. Set aperture by turning
the control wheel (
D
). Shutter speed is automatical-
ly calculated by the camera.
S
Shutter priority mode
. Set shutter speed by
turning the control wheel (
D
). Aperture is automati-
cally calculated by the camera.
P
Program mode
. Aperture and shutter speed
are automatically calculated by the camera. Turn
the control wheel (
D
) to change combination of
aperture and shutter speed (Program Shift).
Full auto
. In this mode, the aperture and shutter
combination is set by the camera and cannot be
shifted. The camera is always in AF Mode and no
exposure adjustments can be made. White Balance
is set to Auto, Metering Method is Centre Weighted
and Drive Mode is set to Single Drive Mode.

. Video recording and playback are ex-
plained on page 91.
Metering Mode
Tap the Metering mode icon (
B
) to set exposure mode.
- Centre weighted.
- Spot.
- Centre spot.
Exposure adjust
Tap the Exposure adjustment value (
C
). Adjust exposure by
sliding right or left.
Tapping the line to the left or right of the dot, will increase
or decrease the value with the value set in
Main Menu >
Camera Settings > Exposure > Increment Step Size >
exposure Adjust
.
Reset the value to zero by double-tapping the
icon to the
left of the line.
In the automatic modes (
A
,
S
and
P
) you can also add a
quick exposure adjustment by pressing the shift button (
E
)
while rotating the control wheel (
D
).
