APPLICATIONS

Generalventilationofmosthouseholdspaces.
INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY PACK
See Figure 1, page 8.
Insertthebatterypackintothebatteryportasshown.
Makesurethelatchonthebatterypacksnapsintoplace
andthe battery packis secured inthe product before
beginningoperation.
Depress the latch and pull to release and remove the
batterypack.
NOTE:AccesstheDCorACportsbyslidingthedoor
mechanismtoexposeyourpreferredpowersource.
For complete charging instructions, see the operator’s
manualsforyourbatterypackandcharger.
WARNING:
Alwaysremovebatterypackorunplugextensioncord
from your product when you are assembling parts,
making adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use.
Removing battery pack or unplugging extension cord
willpreventaccidentalstartingthatcouldcauseserious
personalinjury.

PlacethepowerdialintheOFF ( 0 )position.
Insertthefemaleendofthepowercordintotheproduct
asshown.
Connectthemaleendofthepowercordtothepower
source.
Makesurethepowercordissecuredbeforebeginning
operation.
NOTE:AccesstheDCorACportsbyslidingthedoor
mechanismtoexposeyourpreferredpowersource.
STARTING/STOPPING THE PORTABLE FAN

Insertthebatteryorpowercord.

theOFF(0)position.

OPERATION
WARNING:
Hybridtoolsarealwaysinoperatingcondition.Therefore,
dialshouldalwaysbeintheOFF ( 0 )position,whennot
in use.
CHANGING PORTABLE FAN SPEED
See Figure 3, page 9.
Thisfanhasfourmodesandthreespeeds:Off,High,Medi-
um, and Low.
For low speed, move the dial right to the LOW (1)
position.
For medium speed, move the dial left to the
MEDIUM (2)position.
For high speed, move the dial left to the
HIGH (3) position.
TO HANG THE PORTABLE FAN
See Figure 4, page 9.
Using the key holes to hang the fan:
Removethebatteryorpowercord.
Usea#9x2in.minimumscrewsizeformountingthe
fan.
Ensurethatthescrewsaresecurelyfastenedintoastud
andthatthescrewsareexposednomorethan1/2in.
Installthescrewsintothewallsothatthecenterdistance
is 3.0 in.
Slide the fan’s base over the screws until the screws
arealignedwiththekeyholes.Insertthescrewsintothe
keyholesandslidethefanbasedowntosecurethefan
intoplace.
NOTE: Becarefulnottohangthefaninsuchawaythat
itpreventsnormalfanoperation.
Insertthebatteryorpowercord.
ADJUSTABLE HEAD
See Figure 4, page 9.
Theportablefanheadcanbesetinavarietyofpositions
for better air circulation. To adjust the fan head, make
surethebaseissecureandgentlypivottheheadtothe
desiredposition.
Thisfanalsohastwotighteningknobs,oneoneachsideof
theadjustablehead.Tightentheknobsbyrotatingclockwise
tosecuretheheadinplace.Loosentheknobsbyrotating
counterclockwisetoreleaseandadjustthehead.
